The Joyful Heart Foundation was founded in 2002 and is a registered not-for-profit 501(c3) organization.

Joyful Heart is dedicated to helping survivors heal mind, body and spirit. Our programs are designed to nurture and enable the creative healing process for survivors and their communities.

Lisa is a founding Board Member and Staff for the Foundation. Joyful Heart supports many different healing methods and provides retreats programs which include art, group work, yoga, massage, ocean activities including surfing and swimming with dolphins in the wild.
